Red couldn’t break the chains that confined them. It didn’t make matters easier that his boss was literally strapped to his back. Red growled as the pirates, or more accurately, zombie pirates pushed them farther down the all too cliché plank.
“You’re the last guy I wanted to be chained to.” Red took a deep breath, ready to be sunk into the murky water.
“I like the chains.” Jack laughed despite the situation. “I think I’ll bring some home for Liz and…” The demon cut him off with a glare. “Shut it! I don’t want to hear about that shit!”
